Mayor Steve (kinda, sorta)

Did you ever want to run for office just to make a point. To make the world a bit better because you existed. To challenge status quo systems that FEAR CHANGE by challenging those in the system to THINK OUTSIDE THE BUREAUCRATIC BOX and IMAGINE what would be POSSIBLE when SMART CITIES did smart shit!Ok. Let's face it."Smart Cities" is a great slogan. So is "We think outside the box" at the department meeting's that have lot's of "Be the Change" slogans and quotes in all their reports and studies and meetings and conferences, webinars, presentations and chit-chats with teens who want to live in a cleaner, greener, safer, healthier and happier city of the future that is less 'Borington' and more 'tonnes of fun'.Children and mothers challenged an innovations consultant to "BE THE CHANGE THEY WANTED TO SEE IN THE WORLD" and although the intent was NOT to win, it was to do what innovations consultants do.STRESSTEST THE SYSTEM. The electoral system and the internal systems on how they would reach to innovative ideas from the outside.STRESSTEST THE SYSTEM. The people and their desire to BE THE CHANGE that they all said they wanted to be when they joined city hall and when they said they would BE THE CHANGE during the election 4 years ago, 8 years ago and sometimes more.STRESSTEST THE SYSTEM. The people in the community and what they believe vs what is actually happening behind the narratives and speeches.
